Ambergate 30/10/2010
4 pm on a nice autumn day sees us fly out of the Derwent Valley at Ambergate, up towards Crich Monument and the National Tramway Museum. A brisk wind took us over Ogston reservoir and up to Clay Cross . We just skirt to the east of Chesterfield with it's crooked spire, to a gentle landing north of Staveley at Middle Handley. Two family groups today, the Baker's and the Honey's, both thoroughly enjoying the trip.
