Took of from Grantham Beltonwoods Golf Complex at 17.40.
Over the club house and up the A1 to Newark On Trent. Pointed out the Lawn Turf farms that supply all the major Stadiums at the side of the A1.The soil is light and sandy so ideal for turf.
I bet they could grow asparagus here if they could get the manpower as it is very labour intensive.
Climbed to 5000 feet, Lincoln Cathedrall was in a little mist so not clear.
Could see the power stations up "Mega Watt Valley" on the river Trent, all the way  to the river Humber.
Heading out towards Eden Hall Health Spa on the A46 at Elston.
Spotted a good grass field just before Kilvington and landed nicely just before the trees.
