Called them on the radio, agreed to stay at 500 feet until clear of the drop zone.
Watched as a plane load of 16 skydivers drop from about 14000 feet, cleared the zone and climbed to 3500feet heading out towards Belvoir Castle. We could see Rutland Water and Stamford in the distance as we headed out to the south of Grantham and the A1.
Looking back we had the cooling towers at Ratcliffe on Soar power station, by the M1 and Eastmidlands Airport. Nottingham and the rowing course at the National Watersports Centre.
Landed in a stubble field just before Great Ponton.
